Before
There was a time my mornings started with coffee (always coffee) and whatever was “healthy” according to whatever diet rabbit hole I was down that month — green juice, low-carb toast, maybe nothing at all because fasting was the thing.
I was the woman who could tell you the calorie count in anything but couldn’t tell you why I was so damn tired all the time. My workouts got harder, my meals got smaller, and my clothes still got tighter. Bloat was my plus-one everywhere I went.
And it wasn’t like I was clueless — I was a career nutritionist, a trainer. I was getting my clients leaner, stronger, and feeling amazing… while my own body was headed in the opposite direction. The scale crept up, my jeans got tighter, and the crushing chronic pain made even the “good” days feel heavy.
The Switch
Then one day I stopped chasing diets, and hacks, and started chasing better.
